We are so excited to begin another school year!! During our 1st week of school Kindergartners became royalty, first graders were affirmed as beautiful bright stars and 2nd graders collaborated to create a space where they feel seen and heard! Here’s to lots of curiosity, books and learning!

2nd graders love fun read alouds. I welcomed them back with Aaron Reynolds’s Creepy Pair of Underwear. They made even creepier ones!!

Using the book Between the Lines Pre K tries to imagine a world without color and it turns out, they simply can’t because they’ll miss the rainbows and they like having different skin colors and they don’t want us and everything to be the same color because that’s boring.
