We have received a decision in Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence v. Kennedy, a federal lawsuit in which Haus of Codec was a named plaintiff.

A federal judge has lifted restrictions on HHS and HUD grants, which threatened critical funding for Haus of Codec.

Join us on Friday, October 9 to celebrate our 5th anniversary at Farm Fresh Rhode Island! This evening of inspiration and entertainment will provide Haus of Codec an opportunity to honor community members and partners who have made their work possible this year.

Haus of Codec provides a safe, affirming space for young adults experiencing homelessness, especially youth in underserved communities such as LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC youth, who face much higher risks of homelessness compared to their peers.

Haus of Codec was one of 40 non-profits across RI and MA to receive a grant from the Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation in June. Our Director of Housing Programs, Ben Potrykus, and Board Member at Large Dee Giza accepted the check on behalf of Haus of Codec at an awards breakfast held on June 10 at White's of Westport. Thanks again to for their generous grant, which supports our emergency shelter, the only Emergency Shelter for 18-24 year old homeless young adults in Rhode Island.
