Happy 4th of July holiday weekend! Our roads are getting busy and we remind drivers to stay sober, buckle up, slow down, and keep your eyes on the road. Extra Troopers will be out this weekend to assist motorists and enforce traffic laws.

We’re making great progress as we replace the Plainfield Pike Bridge carrying Plainfield Pike under I-295 in Cranston/Johnston.

A lot is happening as we remove the old and rebuild the piers and abutments to support the new structure. Next, we’ll install a final section of the center pier, and then the prefabricated bridge components for the new bridge deck.

Project completion is slated for Spring 2021.
