Like Home Adult Daycare Health Center busca contratar a un cocinero a tiempo parcial para el turno de 8 a. m. a 1:30 p. m. ubicado en Providence, Rhode Island, para un centro de salud diurno para adultos que atiende a ancianos y adultos con discapacidades. Estamos buscando un cocinero experimentado y apasionado para preparar deliciosas comidas para nuestros participantes.

DEBERES:

• Preparar desayuno, almuerzo, cena y meriendas diariamente (preferiblemente aquellos que puedan cocinar comida caribeña)
• Asegúrese de que los refrigeradores y congeladores se mantengan limpios y desinfectados regularmente
• Trabajar en la fila de bandejas durante el servicio de comidas
• Limpieza general de la cocina
• Lavado de manos y desinfección de ollas y sartenes
• Trabajo relacionado según sea necesario
• Asegurar que la cocina cumpla con los requisitos estatales de salud e higiene
• Responsable de la seguridad y limpieza de la cocina

REQUISITOS:

• Mínimo un (1) año de experiencia en cocina a gran escala
• Debe ser capaz de hacer algún trabajo físico
• Debe ser capaz de trabajar como miembro del equipo
• Diploma de escuela secundaria o su equivalente
• Administrará la cocina

Debe estar vacunado debido a las reglas y regulaciones del Departamento de Salud de RI.

Like Home Adult Daycare Health Center is looking to hire a Part-Time Cook for the 9 AM to 2 PM shift located in Providence, RI for an adult day health center serving the elderly and adults with disabilities. We are looking for a skilled experienced and passionate cook to prepare delicious meals for our participants.

DUTIES:

• Prepare breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks on a daily basis (preferred those who can cook Caribbean food)
• Ensure refrigerators and freezers are kept clean and sanitized regularly
• Working on tray line during meal service
• General cleaning up of kitchen
• Hand washing and sanitizing of pot and pans
• Related work as required
• Ensure Kitchen adheres to State Health and Hygiene Requirements
• Responsible for the safety and cleanness of the kitchen

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification in ServSafe or Sodexo preferred
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in large-scale cooking
• Must be able to do some physical work
• Must be able to work as a team member
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Will manage Kitchen

Responsible for supervising of and/or administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by the participant’s physicians (or other authorized provider).
Ensures that all documents are safely kept.
Ongoing monitoring of each participant’s health status.
Reports to the Executive Director and/or the Assistant Executive Director.
Carries out any other task as assigned by the Executive Director and/or the Assistant Executive Director.
Directs and supervises personnel, as assigned.
Takes initial history and makes initial evaluation.
Prepares clinical and progress notes for each participant visit and summaries of care conferences on his/her file in a timely manner as per Like Home Care policy.
Informs personnel of changes in the condition and needs of the participant.
Participates in and presents in-service programs.

Most be vaccinated due to the Rhode Island Department of Health guidelines.
Mondays-Saturday
8:00am-1:30pm, 30 hours per week
