In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the U.S. Army has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. His legacy echoes the courage of Black WWII veterans like Medgar Evers, who paved the way for President Truman's desegregation of the military in 1948. Together, they remind us that real progress comes from unity and action. Let's continue their work.
