William A. Graham born May 18th, 1851 in Adairsville, Georgia was one of Pryor Creek’s biggest supporters.
Mr. Graham was a banker, businessman, cattleman, civic leader, former mayor, philanthropist who did more for Pryor Creek and Mayes County than any other single individual in our history.
Each year the Municipal Utility Board ensures his grave is decorated in memorial of his generosity to the citizens of Pryor Creek with the establishment of our employment when he purchased the PSO electric system and created the Municipal Utility Board in the 1951 City Charter of Pryor Creek, Oklahoma.
Mr. Graham died on March 28, 1952 at age 101 and 11 months.

Water Professionals Appreciation Day
Today, we take a moment to recognize and celebrate the hardworking team behind MUB's Water and Sewer Department. From sunrise to sunset—and often beyond—their dedication keeps our community running smoothly.
A day in their life includes installing new water services, upgrading meters to the new AMI system, investigating sewer infiltration issues, checking for water meter leaks, and installing and maintaining fire hydrants.
Their job is never done, and their impact is felt every time you turn on the tap or flush the toilet. Thank you to our incredible team for all you do to protect public health and provide essential services!
