Behind our Office of Just Transition are Coloradans who care deeply about the communities they serve. We’d like to introduce you to one of them:

Meet Kelly Gatlin, our Transition Career Planning Coordinator.👋

With more than a dozen years as a public servant, Kelly brings a practical, hard-working perspective to our team. When she isn’t helping coal workers and their families map out their next professional steps, she’s down in Pueblo running a family auction business with her husband, children and grandchildren. She knows what it takes to build and run something of your own and can help aspiring entrepreneurs do the same.

Kelly is dedicated to this work and knows it goes well beyond helping to secure a paycheck. She’s here to support workers and their families through every aspect of tough changes, to listen to what workers want for their futures, and to connect them to the resources to build it.

CDLE offices and customer service centers will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. This includes the call centers for the Unemployment Insurance and the FAMLI Divisions.
