Special thanks to the Aberdeen Neighborhood Assn for the invitation to share my talk 'Transforming the places we live to places we love' last evening. This was the first community based talk using the 10 principles of Re-Urbanism from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The talk focused on Pueblo's rich historical, cultural and artistic assets and how they play a critical role in building the future of the past. The new PO Box ART project at the Historic Federal Building was used as an example of how we thoughtfully use existing resources to build place and engagement.
