Colorado Young Democrats The Colorado Young Democrats aim to empower young people in their local politics!

The Colorado Young Democrats is the official statewide organization representing Young Democrats all across Colorado. We work to further the principals of the Democratic Party by promoting Democratic values and candidates in the state, supporting activities that encourage Young Democrats to become engaged in the democratic process, and supporting Young Democrat organizations across the state. We d

o this by building relationship with and serve as a conduit between Young Democrats and Democratic Party leaders and elected official, get out the vote efforts, and serving as a resource to new and existing Young Democrat organizations in the state.

We saw record turnout for young people at state assembly thanks to the efforts of so many, but especially the young and progressive candidates up and down the ticket! We’re excited to highlight the impact young people have had so far this cycle!

The Colorado Young Democrats fully support the efforts to create the College Democrats of Colorado. CYD has long supported student organizing given significant demographic overlap between students and young people, though, due to significant age diversity within the student population, has failed to fully represent student voices in our spaces. This is why the creation of the College Democrats of Colorado is wholly necessary to ensure student voices are heard in our party.

From the student encampments to the near weekly marches young people have made it clear that they care deeply about this issue. The United States has provided Israel $174 billion in bilateral assistance and missile defense funding to date (in current, non-inflation-adjusted dollars). Would you approve additional funding proposals that include sending more military aid to Israel? Why or why not?”
