We are kicking off our September Attendance Challenge TOMORROW! This challenge is for ALL grade levels!

Which grade level will have the BEST attendance rate for the month of September? 🏆

The winning grade level will earn a special treat from the Central High School Administrators! 🎉

📸 PICTURE DAY IS THIS THURSDAY!

Picture Day is this Thursday! If you would like to order school pictures, order forms are available outside the Activities Office.

Most importantly, please make sure you are here on Thursday so you can have your picture taken. Your picture will also be used for your school ID.

📣 ATTENTION ALL BAND STUDENTS!

Beginning immediately, ALL Band Students must enter through the MAIN DOORS each morning.

The pool doors will no longer be accessible in the mornings for instrument drop-off.

When you are facing the school, Band students should enter through the far-left main entrance door.

Thank you for helping us keep our morning arrival safe, organized, and efficient!

Hello Wildcats and Wildcat Families!
This is your Weekly Update:

Great Job to All of our Athletics/Activities last week and Good Luck this week!

We started an incentive last Monday, August 24th and it ends Thursday September 10th...any Wildcat Student with NO Referrals/Suspensions will be able to purchase a ticket to our Bell Bash 2026...Our Bell Bash takes place during Bell Week (next week) and it is a FUN event for Central High School Students and Staff, you definitely don't want to miss it!

This Wednesday, September 2nd, is our Back-2-School Night...it will begin at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium, and then Parents/Guardians you will be able to attend each class period that your student takes at Central HS. Each class period will last about 15 minutes, and this will be a time when you can meet your student's teachers...it's a Meet and Greet...it is not a time for a Conference, our Parent/Teacher Conferences will be in October. Please have access to your student's schedule, you will need to know where to go for each period. We hope to see you Wednesday night!

This is a reminder for events in our Central High School "Jim Ranson" Gymansium...we have a clear bag policy for our gymnasium, just like the clear bag policy at Dutch Clark Stadium...we have CHS clear bags for sale in our Activities Office for $10 if you would like to purchase one.

Don't forget we have our IN-N-OUT Fundrasier to support our Speech and Debate Club, it's Tuesday, September 8th from 4:30-6:30 pm and it will end at exactly 6:30 pm...you can purchase tickets in our Activities Office or from Mrs. Mehess-$8 gets you a burger, chips and a fountain drink!

Show your School Spirit each week by wearing your College/Sports Tshirts/Sweatshirts on Mondays and Blue and White on Thursdays (no Hats are permitted unless it's a designated hat day)!

Get ready for a delicious way to support our Central High School Speech & Debate Team! 🎤🗣️

Join us for our In-N-Out Fundraiser on:

📅 Tuesday, September 8th
⏰ 4:30 PM–6:00 PM
📍 Central High School Student Parking Lot
🎟️ Tickets: $8.00

And here's the best part! For just $8, you get a burger, chips, AND a fountain drink! 🍔🥤

The In-N-Out truck will be serving up some delicious food, but business shuts down at 6:00 PM sharp, so make sure you get there early! 🍔🍟

Tickets can be purchased from Mrs. Mehess in the Main Office or Mrs. Horvat in the Activities Office.

Hello Wildcats and Wildcat Families!

We want to make sure everyone is aware of our lunch options and procedures.

Students have two lunch options available in the cafeteria:

🍽️ Grab & Go: Students can grab a to-go lunch and take it outside to enjoy their lunch.

🍽️ Cafeteria Lunch: Students can get their lunch on a tray and remain inside the cafeteria to eat.

Because we have so many students in the hallways transitioning between classes and heading to lunch, we are asking that ALL students go directly to the cafeteria when it is time for lunch. Once students arrive in the cafeteria, they can decide which lunch option works best for them.

This will help us keep our hallways clear, improve student supervision, and make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable lunch.

Great Job to our Wildcat Students and Staff for a Wonderful start to this school year!

We had Class Meetings last Thursday, and a lot of information was shared regarding District Policies and Schoolwide Expectations...please make sure you read the Student Conduct and Discipline Code Handbook 2026 that was sent home last week in student's first day packet.

The first day packets must be returned this week to first hour teachers.

We are starting an incentive, it begins tomorrow, Monday August 24th and ends Thursday September 10th...any Wildcat Student with NO Referrals/Suspensions will be able to purchase a ticket to our Bell Bash 2026...Our Bell Bash takes place during Bell Week and it is a FUN event for Central High School Students and Staff, you definitely don't want to miss it!

Due to our high enrollment and large class sizes, requests for schedule changes will only be honored under certain circumstances...
Counselors WILL changes schedules for the following reasons:
Gaps in schedule
Incorrect level placement
Missing graduation requirements
PCC/CSU-P class issues
Counselors WILL NOT change schedules for the following reasons:
Elective changes
Wanting a different lunch
Wanting a different teacher
Different hour preference
