Your Pueblo Firefighters of IAFF Local 3 are proud to serve the City of Pueblo every hour of every day.

Since 1912, we've answered the call with one mission in mind: protecting the lives, homes, and businesses of the community we proudly call home.

We are more than emergency responders. Whether it's a structure fire, medical emergency, hazardous materials incident, technical rescue, or wildland fire, our members are committed to being ready when you need us most.

But our commitment doesn't end when the sirens go quiet. Being a firefighter means more than responding to emergencies. It means showing up for our community in every way we can. From teaching fire safety in local schools and participating in community events to supporting local charities and standing beside our neighbors during times of need, service is at the heart of everything we do.

IAFF Local 3 would like the share the following information regarding a celebration of life for Dave Cooley, retired Truck 1 Engineer: celebration of life will be held Aug 22nd, 1-4pm at the Local 3 union hall. There is also an obituary with all info on Roselawn’s website.

Firefighters spend their careers helping others through life’s hardest moments.

The IAFF Local 3 Foundation exists to support firefighters and their families during times of hardship, because no one who serves our community should have to face tragedy alone.

While residents evacuated, IAFF Local 3 firefighters worked around the clock clearing brush, laying hose, protecting homes, and sending photos to families so they could see their homes were still standing.

Service doesn't end when the shift is over.

It never has.

Since 1912, Pueblo firefighters have answered the call whenever their community needed them most.

He watched flames reach his own property.

Minutes later, he reported for duty.

One of our brothers lost his home during the Aspen Acres Fire. Rather than stepping away, he joined fellow members of IAFF Local 3 to help protect homes throughout Beulah and surrounding communities.

That’s what it means to serve.

Neighbors protecting neighbors since 1912.
