Every child deserves the chance to feel safe, supported, encouraged, and hopeful about their future. 💛

On International Children’s Day, we’re reminded how important community care and compassion are in helping children and families thrive. Small acts of support, kindness, and connection can create lasting impact for young people throughout our community.

Together, we can continue building a Pueblo where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to dream big.

Last year’s Petra McCulley Memorial Remembrance Celebration, Picnic and Take Care Fair brought our community together for a day of connection, remembrance, support, and care. 💛

We’re grateful for everyone who attended, volunteered, partnered with us, and helped make the event meaningful for so many families and individuals in Pueblo.

A special thank you to photographer Teeny Medina for capturing these moments of community and connection. 📸

Small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact. 💛

A huge thank you to Rebecca Rieck and Indie Beauty Collective for visiting Posada’s Norman Transitional Housing and providing fresh haircuts for our residents.

Moments like these are about more than a haircut. They help young adults feel seen, supported, confident, and cared for as they continue building their futures. ✂️

We’re incredibly grateful for Rebecca’s generosity, compassion, and willingness to give back to our community. Pueblo continues to show up for our youth in meaningful ways, and we’re thankful for the people and organizations who help make that possible. 🤝

Mental health matters, and no one should have to navigate their journey alone. 💚

Posada recognizes that healing begins with stability, connection, compassionate care, and access to support. Through safe housing and supportive services, we strive to create spaces where individuals can rebuild, recover, and move forward with hope.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we also want to recognize and thank the organizations in Pueblo working every day to support mental health and recovery in our community, including Dr.Jamie Po***ck and staff, Pueblo Community Health Center, Purple Mountain Recovery, and Serenity Recovery Connection. 🤝

Together, we can continue building a stronger, more supportive community for everyone.

At Posada, we believe housing is only the beginning. True stability comes from feeling empowered and connected to a community that cares.

We’re excited to partner with Serenity Recovery Connection in Colorado Springs to bring life skills classes directly to the young adults in Posada’s transitional housing program.

Through on-site group classes and direct support, young adults will build confidence and develop everyday life skills — from communication and goal setting to healthy living and personal growth. 🌱

We’re grateful to collaborate with organizations like SRC that are committed to helping young adults grow, heal, and move forward with confidence. 🤝

Everyone’s path looks different.

At Posada, support is built around each person and what they need next.

Because stability means more than housing—it means having the chance to move forward. 🌱💛
