💚Please join us in welcoming Jolene Hausman as Posada’s new Executive Director!

For Jolene, this is a full-circle moment. She began her career with Posada more than 20 years ago and now returns to lead the organization into its next chapter.

With nearly two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, community health, housing, human services, and advocacy, Jolene brings a deep commitment to strengthening services and opportunities for individuals and families throughout Pueblo.

As Executive Director, Jolene looks forward to building on the incredible work of Posada’s staff, expanding housing opportunities, strengthening our properties, and continuing the development of Posada’s youth drop-in center. 🏡

We’re excited to celebrate Jolene as she steps into this new role and continues helping move Posada’s mission forward! 💚✨

✨This is what a fresh start looks like✨

When Moniquia first came to Posada, she and her family were staying at our Elko Family Shelter.

From there, she moved into Posada’s Rapid Rehousing Program and began building the next chapter for her family, one with a place of their own to call home. 💕

And then came one of those moments that makes everything feel complete: thanks to Sleep in Heavenly Peace - CO, Pueblo, her children received brand-new beds and bedding for their new home.

A safe place to land.
A bed to sleep in.
A family moving forward.

This is why partnerships matter. And this is why we do what we do.

Empowering Lives. Strengthening Community. 🏡✨

What a beautiful tribute to an incredible 35 years. 💗

We are so proud to see Kim Bowman recognized by the City of Pueblo for the leadership, heart, determination and countless hours she has poured into Posada and this community.

Kim’s impact can be seen in the homes created, the partnerships built, the lives changed and the organization she helped shape along the way.

35 years. One incredible legacy. And so much to celebrate. ✨

Happy Kim Bowman Day, Kim! Pueblo is better because of you. 💕

Monday, August 31, 2026 is proclaimed "Kim Bowman Day."

Kim joined Posada in 1991 as Director of Development, a role in which she spent nearly three decades building the financial and programmatic infrastructure that would define the organizations' growth. In 1997, she took on a mission that would become her signature contribution to Southern Colorado: leading Posada's designation and ongoing work as Pueblo's sole Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), positioning Posada as a force for affordable housing expansion in the region. itis is a distinction that requires technical expertise in housing finance and federal compliance, plus deep community trust.

IN 2018, Kim assumed the role of Executive Director, bringing with her a foundation of institutional knowledge, community relationship, and operational credibility. Under her leadership, and across her broader tenure at Posada, she has overseen the development and renovation of 197 single and multifamily housing units, assembled low-income housing tax credit funding packages in excess of $27 million, and established Alpha West- wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to expanding affordable housing development.

What sets Kim apart is not simply what she has built- it is how she has build it. Known among colleagues, funders and community partners as a resilient, high-energy, and charismatic leader, Kim combines strategic vision with a "get it done" approach that inspires confidence. With more than 35 years of leadership at Posada, Inc. in Pueblo, Colorado, her ability to hold the big picture while attending to the operational details that matter most has been the engine behind Posada's longevity and impact.

Kim's leadership extends well beyond Posada's walls. She has served as Board Chair or Rosemount Museum, board member of education at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic School, a member of the Pueblo Homeless Coalition, grant reviewer for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and a judge for Historic Preservation Colorado Springs. A proud graduate of Colorado State University Pueblo with a degree in mass Communication with an emphasis in Journalism, Kim brings the storyteller's instinct to everything she does- never losing sight of the human story at the center of the work. As she concludes her tenure at Posada, her legacy is not measured only in housing units built or dollars raised, but in the lives stabilized, the staff she mentored, and the community she helped shape over more than three decades of purposeful, principled leadership.

Mayor Heather Graham proclaimed Monday, August 31, 2026 as "KIM BOWMAN DAY" and urges the citizens of pueblo to join her in expressing appreciation for Ms. Bowman's efforts to create safe, supporting spaces for everyone in the Pueblo community.

A little kindness can make a huge impact. ✨

We're so grateful to the Surgical Services team at CommonSpirit St. Mary-Corwin Hospital for including Posada in their incredible Kindness Kit project!

By repurposing clean, unused surgical wrap, the team created 250 bags filled with winter gear, hygiene essentials, water, and healthy snacks to support neighbors throughout our Pueblo community, generously donating 100 of those bags to Posada. Even better, the project kept 150 pounds of material out of the landfill. 💙♻️

Thank you to the St. Mary-Corwin team for your creativity, generosity, and commitment to caring for our community. We're honored to put these kits into the hands of neighbors who need them most. 🤝🛍️

Big congratulations to Julie! 🎉💚

Julie, one of our Norman Transitional House residents, recently completed our Springboard to Empowerment Life Skills classes, and we are so proud of her!

And she’s not stopping there. Julie is preparing for her next big chapter as she gets ready to attend Colorado State University Pueblo! 🎓✨

Through Posada’s partnership with Serenity Recovery Connection, accredited programming is brought directly to our young adults, helping them build valuable life skills, grow their confidence, and gain the tools they need as they take their next steps toward independence.

This is what community partnership looks like: meeting young people where they are, investing in their potential, and celebrating them as they move forward. 💚

Way to go, Julie! CSU Pueblo, here she comes! 🐺✨

Today, on National Senior Citizens Day, we celebrate the older adults who have helped shape our families, our neighborhoods, and the Pueblo community we love. 🏡💚

At Posada, we’re proud of our Sunset Housing Community, which provides safe, secure, and affordable housing for seniors in 16 one-bedroom units.

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home, along with the dignity, stability, and sense of community that come with it.

Today and every day, we’re proud to support our Pueblo neighbors through every stage of life. ✨

There’s something pretty special cooking at Norman House. 💚🍳✨

A huge thank you to Chef Lindy with Pueblo Food Project for bringing cooking classes right into the Norman Transitional House! These classes are about so much more than making a meal. They’re about building confidence, learning valuable life skills, and gathering around the table together.

This is what community partnership looks like. Local organizations sharing their time, talents, and resources to create opportunities for our young people and help them build skills for what comes next. 💚

Good food. New skills. Community showing up for community. That’s the good stuff. ✨

Thank you, Chef Lindy and Pueblo Food Project, for investing in our young adults!
