For those who are new to following us… here is the link and QR code for our hyper reach emergency alert system! You will be able to receive weather alerts, notifications, or local emergency alerts that are sent from our office… please keep in mind the weather alerts come from the National Weather Service not our office and only those in the path of the severe weather are alerted. It is just another form of receiving severe weather alerts (and) not intended to be the primary source for weather alerts!

Giles County Emergency Management Office has changed our Emergency Notification System from Code Red to Hyper-Reach. Names and numbers DID NOT transfer to the new system so EVERYONE that previously received weather alerts WILL have to sign up with the new system. You can follow 1 of the 4 ways that are listed below to sign up. We encourage each one of you to share this with your friends, family, neighbors, church family, social media, etc. If you have any questions you may call the Giles County Office of Emergency Management at 931-363-1342.
