On June 26th, Recruit Officer Melanie Leggett was sworn in as an officer of our agency. She will begin basic officer certification at New River CJTA in July and come back to us in December to complete field training. Help us welcome Officer Leggett to the Town of Pulaski Police Department!

Edit: We appreciate Mayor Collins taking time out of his work day to come conduct the swearing in. We realize leaving your full time duties for a 10 minute task is not easy!

🔒 A simple habit can prevent a big headache. Before you head inside, take a few extra seconds to remove your valuables and never leave your keys inside your vehicle. Lock your vehicle, your home, and any outbuildings every time—even if you're only going to be inside for a few minutes.

A little prevention goes a long way in keeping you, your family, and your property safe.
