It’s Cowbell Game night! 🔔

Giles County High School and Lawrence County High School are ready to face off in one of our area’s favorite rivalries. Who will bring home the bell? We’ll have to wait and see — but Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Pulaski will be cheering for our Giles County Bobcats!

If you’re headed to the game, stop by the STRHS Pulaski tent near the entry gate. We’ll be giving away more than 200 black and gold cowbells, paper fans and offering fans a chance to win a stadium chair.

Messina Barnett, FNP, and the team from Southern Tennessee Orthopedics are joining us at the tent, so be sure to stop by, say hello and grab some game-day gear.

We’re proud to support our local schools and be part of a great Giles County tradition.

Go Bobcats! 🔔

🎉 Congratulations to Lance Pope from the Emergency Department, for being named our August Employee of the Month!

Over the past several months, Lance has received multiple recognitions from patients who experienced his calming presence during life-or-death situations, his quick action in emergent cases and his compassion during some of their most difficult moments.

We know patients rarely come to the Emergency Department on their best day, but we are grateful to have team members like Lance who provide reassurance, comfort and exceptional care when it matters most.

Thank you, Lance, for the difference you make for our patients and our community!

Headaches are common and can often be linked to factors like stress, dehydration, lack of sleep, too much screen time, caffeine withdrawal or skipping meals. While most headaches improve with rest and self-care, it's important to know when symptoms may require medical attention.
