Cadet Murdock served as OPFOR 4 during CST Panther Phase, taking on the role of the enemy force to create a realistic and demanding training environment. By challenging fellow cadets as the opposing force, she tested their tactical decision-making, adaptability, and leadership under pressure—proving that sometimes playing the bad guy is essential to developing better leaders.

27 days. One mindset.

The Maritime Assessment Course at Eglin AFB, Florida is designed to test far more than physical fitness. Through demanding physical events, water confidence, and relentless mental challenges, cadets learn that resilience is often the deciding factor.

As Cadet Schuenemann put it: “Your body will keep going long after your mind breaks.”

Congratulations to Cadet Schuenemann for successfully completing the Maritime Assessment Course and representing our battalion with grit, discipline, and determination.

Three Cadets. One Challenge. One Badge.

This summer, Cadets Gould, Kaikkonen, and Quezada took on Air Assault School and came back with their wings.

Here’s what they learned:

“Air Assault takes a lot of dedication, time, and patience. You have to lean into those around you in order to succeed.” - CDT Gould

“It was an eye opening experience, it taught me to execute under pressure.” - CDT Kaikkonen

“Take every opportunity the army gives you and make the most of it. Left with knowledge, experience, and most importantly lessons and relationships with soldiers I never could have imagined if i didn’t push myself to be better everyday.” - CDT Quezada

Congratulations on representing our battalion with professionalism, resilience, and grit. We can’t wait to see where these experiences take you next.

Cadet Reed had the incredible opportunity to attend the 51st George C. Marshall Leadership and Awards Seminar this past week!

Hosted by Army ROTC, this seminar brought together top cadets from across the nation for two days of leadership development, networking, and professional growth. From PT sessions to small group discussions, cadets explored what it truly means to lead with purpose and integrity.

Hearing from senior leaders like Dan Caine and Maurice O. Barnett made the experience even more impactful.
