How to Replace Your Lawn: a Garden Talk at Neill Public Library 🌻πŸͺ»πŸŒ²

EVENT DETAILS
Tuesday, June 9
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Neill Public Library

Please join us at Neill Public Library on Tuesday, June 9 at 1:00 p.m. for a presentation on lawn replacement by WSU Master Gardener Sheila McKinnon. With traditional lawns averaging more than 30% of household water usage, homeowners may be considering other options. McKinnon will review the pros and cons of traditional lawns, ideas for environmentally sound alternatives, removal techniques, and next steps after a lawn has been removed.

This talk is part of the Garden Talk Tuesday event series at Neill Public Library. Garden Talk participants will learn about a variety of garden-related topics from WSU Whitman County Master Gardeners and local experts, and each event features an β€œAsk a Master Gardener” table where patrons can bring gardening questions and/or samples of plant problems.

Neill Public Library is located at 210 N. Grand Avenue in Pullman.

Pullman PD Code Enforcement Officer Sam Sorem is retiring! Congratulations on your retirement, Sam!

It isn't often that a police officer retires, and then returns to the agency to continue their service. Lucky for us, Sam Sorem did just that!

Now, after years of additional service as a Pullman PD Code Enforcement Officer, Sorem has finally decided to enjoy all that retirement has to offer. We thank him for his 44 total years of outstanding commitment to the City of Pullman community, and wish him the very best.
