Whether you’re a “before Thanksgiving” or an “after Thanksgiving” holiday person, it’s the perfect time to grab something new-to-you at the FNPL Book Sale! Our holiday materials are out, and we have books for adults and kids, a few audiobooks, and music to help celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

(Just a reminder, our selection is based entirely on donations. If we don’t have items for a holiday you celebrate, enjoy searching the much larger Neill Public Library collection or ask a librarian to help you find something perfect to check out!)

Have you ever looked at Friends of Neill Public Library and thought, “Wow what a wonderful group of people who love supporting our library! It would be so fun to join them!” Well, the time has come. Our dear board member Julie is moving on to new projects, and she will be a hard one to replace! We are looking for a new member to take over her role, primarily looking for someone with graphic design skills (logos, newsletters, etc). The one major requirement (besides a love of the library, of course) is attendance at board meetings, which is held every second Wednesday of the month at 1 pm. We have a lot of fun and support a pretty wonderful community institution. Reach out to [email protected] if you are interested!

Did you know Friends of Neill Public Library has a monthly book donation day? It is generally the second Tuesday of every month! We love your gently used books to add to our book sale area. Our upcoming donation days are:

September 9
October 14
*November 12 (a WEDNESDAY, as Tuesday the 11th the library will be closed in observance of Veterans Day).
