🦆🌿 Learning About Habitats! 🌿🐸

Second grade has been diving into science as we learn all about habitats and the basic needs of animals! We’ve been exploring what animals need to survive and how their environments provide food, water, shelter, and space.

To wrap up our learning, we got to put our knowledge into action by creating EDIBLE POND HABITAT DIORAMAS!🐸🪷🐢

The students had so much fun designing their own pond habitats while showing what they’ve learned about the animals and plants that call a pond home. And, of course, the best part was getting to eat our habitats when we were finished!😂🍬

Science + creativity + a little sugar = one VERY memorable learning experience! 💚🔬🦋

📚✨ THE BOOK FAIR IS COMING! ✨📚

Get ready, Eagles! 🦅❤️💙 Our Book Fair kicks off THIS FRIDAY and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎉📖

Students will have the chance to browse, shop, and find some amazing new books to add to their collection! Whether they’re into adventure, mystery, animals, graphic novels, or laugh-out-loud stories, there’s something for everyone! 🤩📚

📚 Where: Media Center

We can’t wait to see our Eagles light up when they find that perfect book! ❤️📖 Let’s encourage our kids to get excited about reading and build those home libraries one book at a time!

🎉 Our First Referral-Free Event is Coming! 🎉

We are so excited to celebrate our students who are making positive choices and showing great behavior! 💙❤️

📅 Event Date: September 16th

Students who remain referral-free from Monday, August 31st through Wednesday, September 16th and have no more than 2 unexcused absences during this time will be invited to attend the event during the school day! 🙌

At the event, students will get to use their hard-earned PBIS points to purchase yummy snacks and special treats! 🍿🍬

We can’t wait to celebrate our students and all the positive choices they are making each day! ⭐️
