Did anyone else just get a reminder that the Caribbean is a little closer than we think?

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck about 65 miles off the coast of Cuba this afternoon, and reports are coming in from residents across Southwest Florida who say they felt the ground shake.

So, be honest...

Did you feel it?

Thought the dog bumped the couch?
Blamed the washing machine?
Assumed someone drove a golf cart over a pothole?

Or immediately checked Facebook to confirm you weren't imagining things?

Fortunately, no tsunami threat has been reported, but it's definitely not every day that Punta Gorda gets a little geological excitement.
