The City of Punta Gorda is inviting residents to share their thoughts on proposed improvements to Punta Gorda Trabue Park.

Two public meetings are planned to discuss the City’s Outdoor Recreational Legacy Partnership grant application and proposed projects, including new fitness and recreational equipment, additional paths, a pedestrian bridge, and a parking lot to improve access to the park.

Community input is important, and residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and provide feedback.

FDOT roadwork is underway in Punta Gorda. Drivers can expect some lane closures and nighttime work as crews continue improvements throughout the corridor.
