Chokma to fellow Chickasaws:
We, the Purcell Chickasaw Board, want to say "yakoke" to everyone for a wonderful time we had to celebrate our Christmas dinner/auction on Friday, December 5 with 64 in attendance.
The Board came together with a wife of a Board member in setting up and organizing the evening. We really enjoyed our music entertainment for the evening, Tone Williamson from Wayne. We had an awesome entertaining auctioneer for the evening as well, Nahinli Billy.
We are thankful to our Chickasaw Community Outreach and Chickasaw Legislators who were in attendance; Lisa Billy, Lisa Impson, Karen Goodnight and Beth Alexander.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families.

What better way to get in the Christmas spirit?

Attend the Purcell Chickasaw Community Council on Friday, December 5th, 2025, at 6:00 pm, at the Chickasaw Area Office, 1430 Hardcastle Boulevard for our annual Thanksgiving/Christmas/Auction fundraiser.

There will be a free dinner served and several items that will be auctioned off to raise funds for our Purcell Chickasaw Community Council. You could make a real start on your Christmas shopping list!

Those attending are asked to bring a salad and/or dessert that will go with our turkey/dressing meal. Nice items for the auction are very much appreciated. Ask family or friends if they would like to contribute as well.

We are asking you to RSVP to [email protected] so we might be better prepared for the amount served.

For more information contact Carolee Maxwell at 405-527-7676.

We hope to see you there! It will be a lot of fun!
