It’s October 1st, which means it’s time for this month’s Employee Spotlight!
This month’s spotlight is Angela Klinge! Angela has been a preschool aide for 11 years. She also works as an instructor at our community center. One of the highlights of her day is having fun with the children in the classroom, engaging in conversations with them, and listening to all the cute and funny things they have to share. She loves creating meaningful connections with the kids and enjoys being part of their learning, growth, and everyday adventures.
When Angela is not in the classroom she enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with her family, going for outdoor walks, and playing with her two dogs, Coco and Nala.

- What do you enjoy most about working here?
I have gained a second family here. My coworkers are truly the best so to be able to do a job I love alongside them is a gift! And of course, working with the kids—they bring something new and fun every day!

- What’s your favorite childhood memory?
I have a lot of favorites, but my family would go to Kings Dominion every summer, hikes at Burke Lake Park, visiting my grandparents on the weekends and family game nights!
- What’s your go-to snack or drink during the workday?
White Chocolate Mocha coffee
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the first fun thing you’d buy? I would buy a beach house. I love the beach and spending time with family and friends, so having a place to share with the people I love in one of my favorite places would be perfect!
