A few of our members visited Put-in-Bay School for Fire Safety Week! 🚒🔥

Our firefighters spent time with the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, teaching them important fire safety tips and answering questions.

This year’s Fire Safety Week theme, “Charging Up for Fire Safety,” focuses on lithium-ion battery safety and the importance of using, charging, and storing these batteries safely.

A big thank you to Put-in-Bay School for welcoming us and helping us keep our island community safe! ❤️

A friendly reminder that in Ohio there is a no burn ordinance from October 1st through November 30th. During this time of year there is an increased risk of wild fires. Please help do your part to keep our island community safe!

We are officially sold out of clams! Thank you to everyone who stopped by Chicken Patio today. We are so incredibly thankful for the amazing support of our community and visitors! We look forward to serving you again next year.

We will still be selling chicken dinners until 9 pm and will be selling raffle tickets until 6:30.

Two days away!

This Saturday, help the Put-in-Bay Volunteer Fire Department celebrate its 50th Annual Clam Bake at the Chicken Patio located in the heart of downtown Put-in-Bay!

Our local fire department is made up of 33 dedicated volunteers who give their time to help keep our island safe. Hop on the Miller Ferry, and celebrate this longtime island tradition while supporting our local firefighters!

We’re celebrating 50 years of Clambakes! 🎉 This island tradition has been bringing our community together for five decades, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Join us at Chicken Patio from 11am - 7pm (or sold out) Saturday September 26.

Come enjoy some delicious clams, check out the gear, and let the kids try their luck at the prizes. And, of course, don’t forget the main event — the clams! 🦪

What a spectacular night of training! 🚒🔥

Our training took us down to the lake at South Bass Island State Park for pump operations and drafting training. Each firefighter had the opportunity to work through different scenarios, sharpen their skills, and build confidence in their abilities.

Everyone put in the effort to challenge themselves, learn, and become better firefighters. Very proud of everyone!
