Our Christmas Luncheon was a wonderful success!!! We had a great turnout and everyone enjoyed lots of delicious food & time spent with friends! A big heartfelt thank-you goes out to Sue Thwaite & her many Elves for working tirelessly preparing all the delicious food! Hope everyone has a blessed Christmas 🎄

Today, we had the honor of recognizing 12 incredible military veterans from the Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Navy during a heartfelt Veterans Pinning Ceremony & delicious lunch at the Put-in-Bay Senior Center.🇺🇸

A sincere thank-you to Stein Hospice, the Daughters of the American Revolution, Ottawa County Veteran Services, Ottawa County Senior Resources, and the Ottawa County Commissioners for their support in making this special event possible.

We are deeply grateful to our veterans for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. ❤️🤍💙

What a fabulous Christmas Luncheon we had yesterday at the Senior Center! Everyone loved the great company & catching up with other islanders. The delicious food was prepared by Sue Thwaite & her elves.

PIB Seniors: Please let the Senior Center, Susanne Kostura or Heidi Ladd know if you’ve turn 60 this year so you can get a Christmas Fruit Basket. Also, let us know if you won’t be here this holiday season, that way the Rec Committee won’t make a basket that can’t be delivered.

Today, we had a fabulous “moving away” luncheon for one of our favorite seniors, Dave Gundlach. Dave recently moved to the mainland & we sure miss him already! So glad he came back today so we could celebrate & thank him for all he did for our Senior Center & the PIB community … we send our very best wishes as he begins this new chapter in his life!
