Monday May 11th - Saturday May 16th, 2026, is National Police Week. During this annual event, we recognize the bravery and dedication of the Law Enforcement Officers who protect and serve their communities, and we honor and remember those Law Enforcement Officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in the line of duty.
A message from Chief Chris Ferace:
Every day, the men and women of the Putnam Police Department serve our community with distinction. Whether helping a community member resolve a problem or apprehending a violent offender, they carry out their duties with professionalism, integrity, and courage. I am proud to lead this department.
I extend my sincere thanks to every member of the Putnam Police Department—our police officers, dispatchers, and civilian staff—for all you do each day to keep Putnam a safe and friendly community.
