It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Carol Johnson our beloved school counselor and wife of Mr. Johnson, Superintendent.

Carol dedicated her life to supporting students, encouraging staff, and helping families with kindness, compassion, and wisdom. Her caring presence touched countless lives, and her commitment to the well-being and success of every child will never be forgotten.

Beyond her work as a counselor, Carol was a faithful friend and a source of strength and encouragement to all who knew her.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Superintendent Johnson, their family, friends, students, and all who mourn this tremendous loss. Carol’s legacy of compassion and service will continue to live on in the many lives she impacted.

To allow family, friends, staff and students to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, May 12th all campuses will close and early release students and staff at 1:15pm.

Please keep the Johnson family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and we’re celebrating the people who make Travis Middle School special every single day.

We’ll be highlighting two teachers each day this week—here’s our first group: our Business/Technology teacher and our English teacher!
