Welcome to the Quantico 50m Pool page. This is your source for pool updates. The facility includes an Olympic size pool and wading pool.

The Quantico 50M pool is place to be this summer for relaxation, fun, exercise and learning opportunities. The wading pool is a zero depth entry to make access to our mushroom fountain and frog slide easy for our littlest swimmer. The 50M Pool is the perfect place to swim laps or play games with your friends and is equipped with a winding water slide, 3 meter diving board and 1 meter diving board which provide endless fun for kids and adults alike. In addition to recreational swimming we offer Water Aerobics, Unit PTs, Swim lessons, Lifeguard Training, Water Safety Instructor Training. Your aquatic exercise and education opportunities are endless at the Quantico 50M Pool. We also offer both private & splash parties. Make your next event a splash and throw a pool party with us! With so much to do your attendees will never be bored. Pool Parties are light on the wallet, but heavy on the fun! We hope you'll spend your summer with us.

🏊 Last Day of the Season

Today is the final day for Lap Swim/ PT.

❗️The facility will close at 1300❗️

We would like to thank all of our patrons for their support throughout the summer. It has been our pleasure to provide a place for recreation, fitness, training, and family fun.

We are pleased to announce that the 50M Pool is OPEN today, September 9, and has resumed normal operations.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during yesterday's closure due to the installation water main break. We appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back to the pool.

🚨 Facility Closure Notice 🚨

Due to the ongoing water main break affecting the installation, the 50M Pool will be closed for today, September 8.

At this time, we are unsure if normal operations will resume tomorrow. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.

It’s the last day of our summer Rec season! 🏊

The entire facility is open, and all available staff are here to help us end the season with a bang.

We have just 2 days left in the summer season, so come enjoy the sunshine and the blue water!

Today’s Schedule:

1200-1500: Shallow Pool and Lap Lanes open
1500-1800: Shallow Pool and Lap Lanes open, plus either the Diving Boards or the 50M Pool Shallow End, depending on patron demand

Thank you for your understanding as we operate with limited end-of-season staffing.

Summer is almost over, so don’t miss one of your last chances to enjoy the 50M Pool this season. Grab the family, get some laps in, or just come cool off and enjoy the water with us before we close out the summer!

Take a ride down our Gator Slide or get some laps in while the pool is sitting at a perfect 82°F.

We have just one more weekend of Recreational Swim before the season wraps up on Labor Day!

Please be advised that the Quantico 50M Pool will be closed from 0800 - 1145 on Tuesday, August 25th due to mandatory staff training.

We appreciate your patience as we complete this required training and look forward to welcoming you back when the pool reopens at 1145.

Good Morning, Quantico!

Today, we are proud to host the DC National Guard at the 50M Pool.

Due to the training reservation, the 50M Pool will be unavailable to patrons until 2:00 PM.

Shallow Pool: Open 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
50M Pool Lap Lanes: Open to the public beginning at 2:00 PM
50M Pool Shallow End: Closed
50M Pool Deep End: Closed
Diving Boards: Closed

Due to the majority of our seasonal staff returning to school, the 50M Pool will have limited areas available for the remainder of the day.

🌧️ Rain or Shine, the 50M Pool is Open! 🏊‍♂️

A little rain doesn’t stop us! The 50M Pool will remain open during rainy weather unless lightning is detected in the area.

As many of our seasonal staff return to school, we will be operating with some limited areas of the pool. The deep end and main shallow end will be closed, but the following will remain available:

- Lap lanes for PT and Lap Swim
- Diving boards
- Shallow pool
- Slides

Thank you for your understanding as we adjust staffing for the end of the summer season.
