Getting out doesn’t mean starting from zero. (it might feel like it, sometimes😅)
Let’s build what’s next with the right support and mindset.

Transitioning from the Marine Corps is easier with the right support—by leveraging programs like TRP and SkillBridge and building strong community connections, Marines can confidently navigate their path to civilian success.

"Unsuitable for overseas” doesn’t always mean the door is closed.

There’s still a process, and in some cases, your gaining command can review and make a decision.

Here’s the key:
✅ It’s not automatic (it has to be initiated by the gaining command)
✅Your medical privacy is still protected
✅ FMTS team is here to help you understand your options

For questions or assistance, HQMC Family Member Travel Screening Cell is on standby. Learn more: http://ms.spr.ly/6184vTJEa

Constantly tired? Over-relying on that 2pm energy drink to stay alert? 👀

Let’s be honest, sleep isn’t always easy in the Marine Corps. From early formations, late nights... Stress doesn’t just switch off. (And trust us, this isn’t just about “getting perfect sleep”)

Let’s start with improving what you can. REM sleep is where your brain actually recovers. Small changes can help you think clearer, react faster, and handle stress better.

Start small. Then keep moving forward. Support is here, Marine.

REM (rapid eye movement) is the essential “active” phase of sleep. It is characterized by increased brain activity, vivid dreaming, and body temperature regulation.
