Quartzsite Police Department The Official page of the Quartzsite, Arizona Police Department. The Town of Quartzsite was incorporated in 1989 as a town along Interstate 10.

Quartzsite has become a mecca to visitors and exhibitors for rocks, gems, mineral specimens and fossils during the town’s famous two-month-long gem show and swap meet every January and February. From its humble beginnings, the now-massive Quartzsite show has grown to RV-epic proportions. Quartzsite is located just 1/4 hour, (18 miles) from the Arizona-California state line on Interstate 10, which

is one of the most active vehicle routes in the nation. Interstate 10 passes East and West through the town of Quartzsite, and US/SR 95 passes North and South from the Mexican to the Canadian Border through the center of town. The town of Quartzsite also contains 3 major trucks stops, with a fourth in the planning phase, which serve as major fueling points outside of the state of California. It is estimated that approximately 460,000 passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles per year exit off from the interstate and US 95 and purchase fuel from one of our truck stops. The number of vehicles traveling I -10 is estimated at 10,674 per day and those traveling Hwy 95 is estimated at 388 per day. The Quartzsite Police Department started out in 1989 as the Quartzsite Marshal's Office with a handful of Officers. The Department transitioned to the Quartzsite Police Department currently has 11 Sworn Officers and currently growing.

🇺🇸🏍️ It was great to see so many members of the Quartzsite community come out to show support for Run For The Wall as riders passed through town.

The support shown for our veterans, POWs, MIAs, and those who have served our country was truly inspiring to witness.
