QCFMD is hosting a bottled water drive this summer to provide essential hydration to those most at risk during the extreme heat. 💧

In honor of America's 250th Birthday, our goal is to collect 250 cases. 🇺🇸

Fire Station 1 (20678 Civic Parkway) will serve as the donation drop off location.

Residents can bring a case of water to:

- What’s Poppin’ in QC on Tuesday, June 2 at the Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center, 22343 E. Ryan Road from 5 – 7 p.m.

- The Town Council meeting on Wednesday, June 17 at 6:30 p.m. when the America 250 proclamation will be issued by the QC Town Council.

As part of National EMS Week, we recognize our emergency transportation personnel! 🚑

QCFMD has an ambulance unit at each of its five fire stations, with four units fully staffed. Ambulance staffing includes two employees: one EMT- paramedic and one EMT-basic.

We want to thank our emergency transportation personnel for their service to our community. 👏

QCFMD responded to a working fire in an apartment unit near S 206th Pl and Ellsworth Loop Rd. The fire was put out and there were no reported injuries.

Today is International Firefighters' Day 🚒

We want to recognize QCFMD for their commitment and dedication to serving our community!

QCFMD and Town staff will be conducting a joint emergency drill at the Recreation & Aquatic Center at Frontier Family Park May 2.

QCFMD responded to a fire alarm at Desert Mountain Elementary School earlier this morning. Crews identified light smoke and odor in a couple of classrooms, and the school was evacuated as a precaution.

The source was traced to an air handler in the ceiling and has been isolated. The scene has been turned over to school staff, and students are being allowed back inside.

No injuries were reported.

Fire crews will be conducting training at structures near Ellsworth Road and Aldecoa this week. Training is slated for Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.

E413 reunited a family in the Legado community on Wednesday evening. 🦆

Crews responded to a call and rescued 10 ducklings from a storm drain and reunited them with mother duck.
