I’m sad to see that Arizona ranks 6th in the nation for real estate deed fraud, and even sadder to know how easy it is to perpetrate.

Maricopa County can send you alerts anytime there is a change in the ownership or contact information associated with your parcel of property. It’s free to sign up… Do it!

Furthermore, I’m glad to know that Arizona is enacting new laws to help combat this crime. Soon notaries will be required to capture the thumb print of someone signing a property transfer document. Additionally, Recorder’s Offices will require photo ID for any property title transfer (why don’t they already???). Finally, these crimes will get the designation they deserve, which is a felony.

I don’t know the timeline on all of these new laws/procedures being enacted, but I can assure you that On Your Time Mobile Notary will help to ensure safe and legitimate transfer of property records, and will follow all laws by the jurisdictions in which we offer our services.

Some helpful information from The Town.

You can help ensure timely and efficient collection of your trash and recycling services by remembering these best practices. 🗑️ ♻️

- Place your trash and recycling carts curbside by 6 a.m. on your collection day.

- Position carts at least three feet apart from each other and away from vehicles, mailboxes, and other obstructions.

- Please do not overfill carts. All materials should fit inside the cart with the lid closed.

- Green waste, including yard trimmings, leaves, and tree clippings, should be bagged and securely tied before being placed inside your trash cart.

These types of stories always break my heart...

An individual passes away - which, in and of itself is stressful, painful and sad.
