Ready, set… adjust your seat and mirrors 🚗✨

CarFit is rolling into Casa Grande to help older drivers feel safer, more comfortable, and confident behind the wheel. In just a short session, trained volunteers will check how well your vehicle “fits” you and offer simple tips that can make a big difference on the road.

🥕🌱 Community Resource Spotlight 🌱🥕

Supervisor Goodman’s Office is proud to support the Community Action Market & Produce (C.A.M.P.), hosted by LifePoint Missions, serving families and individuals in San Tan Valley.

Held on the first Saturday of each month from 8–11 AM, C.A.M.P. offers access to fresh, rescued produce through a Shop-N-Select market or prepackaged boxes. With a $15 donation, community members can choose from a variety of fruits and vegetables — with no income or residency requirements.

10 - 11 AM CLICK, TYPE, LEARN: Basic Computer Education for adults…are you intimidated by technology? Want to learn more about using a computer? This is the class for you!
4 - 4:45 PM ONE MORE CHAPTER: Elementary-age story time. Come listen to a few chapters of a great book.

Tuesday, March 10
10 & 11 AM ADVENTURES IN STORYTIME: Story Time is back! Join Ms Atley as we share some songs, bubbles, books and fun! There are 2 sessions, one starting at 10 AM and the second at 11 AM. For ages 2 - 6 and their caregivers. This is a ticketed program. Please plan to arrive 15 - 30 minutes early to collect a ticket at the circulation desk.
4 - 5 PM YOUNG ADVENTURERS CLUB: This is a Dungeons & Dragons game for our patrons aged 8 - 13. You don’t need any experience or gear…just a desire to play and some good listening skills. Registration is required. Our Tuesday session is currently full.

Wednesday, March 11
3 - 4:30 PM BUILD IT!: Our weekly engineering challenge for patrons ages 8 - 14. Come see what you can build…This is drop-in style.
6 - 7:30 PM ART EXPLORE: Our adult art program returns! Come explore different art mediums and learn techniques as you create your own masterpieces in this no-pressure, fun-filled environment. This month, we will be painting a beautiful watercolor bouquet.

Thursday, March 12
10 AM BRIGHT BEGINNINGS: Our new offering for our youngest patrons! Enjoy songs, rhymes, bounces, and short stories designed for babies (up to 24 months) and their caregivers. This program encourages early literacy, bonding, and playful interaction in a gentle, age-appropriate setting. This is a ticketed program with limited availability. Please plan to arrive 15 - 30 minutes early to collect a ticket at the circulation desk.
1 - 3 PM CREATIVE HAVEN: Join us for paper crafting! Each session will feature several cards/crafts, with all supplies provided.
4 - 5 PM YOUNG ADVENTURERS CLUB: This is a Dungeons & Dragons game for our patrons aged 8 - 13. You don’t need any experience or gear…just a desire to play and some good listening skills. Registration is required. Our Thursday session is currently full.

Friday, March 13
9 - 9:30 AM CHAIR YOGA: Start your weekend with a gentle stretch…all poses are seated or standing with a chair assist. Wear comfortable clothes.
9:45 AM - Noon YARN CRAFTERS: All are welcome: young or old, beginners or experts. Come share ideas and learn some new skills. Bring your own supplies.
1 - 3 PM LET’S PLAY!: Game time for those 18 and up. Hang out with a nice group of friends and play a fun game.
3 - 4:30 PM DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: No experience necessary…all equipment provided. This adventure is for those ages 13 and older.

Saturday, March 14
11 AM - 1 PM MAHJONG: Whether you already know the game or want to learn, this is the group for you! All supplies provided. Adults.
1 - 2 :30 PM YOUNG ARTISTS WORKSHOP: For kids aged 8 - 13. Learn about the elements of art as we make some awesome art projects! This month we will be showing you some cool tricks with watercolors and painting a bunch of colorful flowers. Please plan to attend the entire session.
