It was a pleasure to give some welcoming remarks on behalf of Warren County, New York at today’s New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC) “Finance School”! The 3-day event brings hundreds of county finance professionals from around NYS for specialized trainings. Many thanks to The Queensbury Hotel for hosting this important event for a 2nd year in a row!

Today’s Spring Tourism Seminar saw scores of regional stakeholders come to hear from tourism experts Heather Bagshaw (Warren County, New York) & Gina Mintzer (Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce) at SUNY Adirondack!

Topics ranged from a 2025 year-in-review to 2026 marketing initiatives to a major cultural event series proposed by Trustee Jose Filomeno (Village of Lake George).

Thank you to the The Fort William Henry Hotel for hosting us as Warren County, NY 250th kicked off its Commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution!

Colonial reenactors, period dress & food, a fantastic 1776-style performance by the Glens Falls Symphony and New York Baroque Dance Company, followed by a keynote from Dr. Douglas Bradburn, Executive Director of George Washington's Mount Vernon!

Steel is vertical at Tech Meadows in Glens Falls for the first time in nearly 13 years!

The UA of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 773 purchased the industrial park’s first 5-acre lot and constructed its stunning 17,500-sq. ft. training center in 2013.

This year, Kru Coffee is constructing its new 5,400-sq. ft. coffee roasting facility on an adjoining 5-acre parcel sold last year by the Greater Glens Falls Development Corp.

Kru’s new facility will receive, roast, package, and distribute various coffee products.
