is located in the Town of Queensbury, Warren County NY. The purpose of the Bay Ridge Volunteer Fire Company is to prevent the loss of lives and property. This may be achieved through responses to: suppress and control fires, perform extrication at motor vehicle accidents, water related emergencies, medical emergencies, and any other emergency or hazardous situation in which the fire company, its m

anpower or equipment may be of assistance. Additionally, the department will promote fire safety awareness in the community. This may be done by providing fire prevention instruction to children and adults.

Today, members of our department are standing by in Lake George to help providing fire department coverage for the Lake George area while they work to put on another successful convention alongside Hadley-Luzerne Fire Department, North Queensbury Fire Department, Lake George EMS, Warrensburg EMS, and Queensbury EMS.

While crews are assisting in Lake George, we continue to maintain coverage here at home with personnel remaining in district and ready to respond to any emergencies that may arise.

A special thank you to Queensbury Central Fire Department for assisting with mutual aid coverage and helping ensure our communities remain protected.

In addition to supporting the residents and visitors of Lake George, we're also excited to cheer on and support our neighboring departments participating in today's parade, as well as our brothers and sisters in the fire departments within the Town of Queensbury.

Partnerships like these are a great reminder of the teamwork, cooperation, and camaraderie that make the fire service so strong. Stay safe in heat and stay hydrated!
