Queensbury EMS Organized in 1957, the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad, Inc. Our primary coverage area is the Bay Ridge and South Queensbury Fire Districts.

is one of three emergency squads serving the residents and visitors of the Town of Queensbury, which is located in southern Warren County, NY. We currently operate two Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulances and one ALS Medic 1st Response Unit. Recently we went online with narcotics. ve your community? Joining the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad is easy and new applicants are always welcome! Our monthly drill is held the 1st Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM and all EMS providers are welcome! CME certificates are issued for all trainings. Our monthly meeting is held the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. The Bay Ridge Rescue Squad is dispatched by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department on the Fire Alert frequency 154.175 MHz and communicates with EMS Control on the EMS Control frequency 155.295 MHz. Additionally, the Bay Ridge Rescue Squad holds FCC licenses to operate two frequencies to be used for squad activities…they are 159.600 MHz which is designated “BRRS-RPT”and 155.160 MHz which is designated “BRRS-OPS”.

Is your child safe in their car seat? Find out! Washington County Public Health will be holding a Free Car Seat Check in partnership with Fort Ann Volunteer Fire Company, 11289 NY-149, Fort Ann NY 12827 on Wednesday, June 17th from 3-5pm.

Certified Car Seat Technicians will be on hand to check car seats for proper fit, use, possible recall and to help parents and caregivers on how to use the seat right. If a car seat is found to be unsafe, a limited number of car seats may be available for donation.

The car seat check is sponsored by New York State Governor's Traffic Safety Committee, Washington County Public Health, and the Cambridge Volunteer Fire Department.

Public Health also does checks by appointment at our office!

A section of Bay Road/Warren County Route 7 in Queensbury, between Pickle Hill Road and Route 9L, will be closed for culvert replacement start on Monday, June 8, 2026. The recommended detour during this closure is Pickle Hill Road and Route 9L/Ridge Road as outlined on the attached map.

Contractors will be on site starting Monday, June 1 to begin preparatory work. The culvert that is being replaced is near Lockhart Mountain Road.

The closure is expected to last through the summer. Thank you in advance for your patience!
