2026 Plumas County Veterans Stand Down - September 18 & 19 !

Plumas County Veterans Services is proud to host our annual Veterans Stand Down, a free two-day event dedicated to serving local veterans and their families.

Join us for two days of valuable resources, services, and community connections. Veterans will have access to representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the California Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Service Organizations, community exhibitors and resources, and more

Dates: September 18-19, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Location: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 55 Bellamy Lane, Quincy, CA 95971

Plumas County Public Health Senior Summit is back and taking place on Wednesday, September 16th from 9am-1:00pm at the Quincy Vet's Hall.
Lots of great information will be available! Seniors, families and caregivers invited.
