Bailey had a blast this week celebrating National Dog Day at our Quincy Point Dunkin'! Dunkin and BARK teamed up for the FIRST EVER Official Dog Drive-Thru to raise money for Dunkin' Joy In Childhood Foundation. The Foundation provides the "simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger or illness."

Great that Dunkin chose the drive-thru location that is just a mile from their original for the pop-up event which had custom giveaways, toys, treats, and a lot of happy pups.

Early Voting for the September 1st State Primary Election is underway in the City of Quincy! An important election - contested races for Congress and the Norfolk County District Attorney will be decided by this Primary.

The polls are closed for the day (and reopen at 8:30 AM tomorrow) BUT 5 PM is the deadline to register to vote by or on 9/1!

I have walked out of these doors hundreds of times, never hungry and always happy. Congratulations to Gerry, Jane, Anthony, and their many longtime employees. Almost 33 years running not only a delicious restaurant, but a beloved community staple is quite an accomplishment.

Great weather last night for one of the best events of the summer - the Quincy Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Quincy! So many restaurants showcased their delicious menus and the City’s culinary landscape at the Adams Inn. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Chamber’s Restaurant Week coming next month (September)! 🍕🌯🍔🌅

Before that, I stopped by Quincy Police Department’s National Night Out at Pageant Field. NNO is a free community-building event featuring family-friendly activities, police and safety resources, and local outreach. Great job, QPD! 🚨🚔

Thank you to everyone who came to our Summer Soiree last week! Special thanks to the staff at the The Pour Yard Quincy and Cagney's Restaurant & Pub for hosting. I tried to plan a casual summer outing (hence the new “swag”) but the weather pushed us inside.

Grateful for a wonderful crowd despite it being a rainy night in July! Incredibly lucky to represent and call these awesome people my family, friends, colleagues and constituents. 🗳️💜
