A huge THANK YOU to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois for this incredibly generous donation of $9,325.46 to Great River Autism Connection! 💙

Your support helps us continue providing meaningful programs, resources, and connections for autism families throughout our community. Because of donations like this, we are able to keep events, support opportunities, and services accessible for local families who need them most.

We are so grateful for community partners who believe in our mission and invest in making a difference. Thank you for helping us grow acceptance, connection, and support in our community.

Navigating the journey of raising a child with Autism can bring both joy and unexpected financial challenges. The QMG Foundation Great River Autism Connection designed the BOOST Grant with that in mind. Every child has different needs, whether it's an iPad to help with communication or sensory toys to regulate sensory systems, reduce anxiety, and improve focus. The BOOST Grant helps cover these costs.

To apply to the BOOST program, applicants need to submit a BOOST grant application, along with proof of autism diagnosis and the cost for the equipment, materials, and/or tools they are requesting. If approved, grant awards will be made directly to vendors or come in the form of a gift card. Applications are available at https://www.quincymedgroup.com/foundation-impact-grac.

We are beyond grateful for the incredible turnout at the GRAC Autism Acceptance & Awareness Walk this past Saturday!

It was a day filled with fun, connection, laughter, and so much support for our local autism community. Seeing families, friends, and community members come together like that is truly what GRAC is all about!

Thank you to every single person who showed up, walked, volunteered, donated, or shared resources. This event is completely free to our community and would not be possible without time, generosity, and heart of some amazing people. Because of you, we are able to continue supporting families through programs like our Boost Grants, AAC device loaner program, educational opportunities, and events that foster connection all year long.

We are so thankful for this community and the impact we can make together. 💙

If you would like to be involved in next years walk- send us a message we would love to connect!
