Feather River College Upward Bound

Feather River College Upward Bound Be the architect of your future! Feather River College Upward Bound is one of three federally funded TRIO programs hosted by Feather River College (FRC).

FRC Upward Bound serves 50 students from the following high schools: Westwood, Chester, Greenville, Quincy and Portola. The program provides tutoring, academic advisement, college tours, enrichment courses, SAT prep, and assistance completing college admissions and financial aid applications. As a participant in Upward Bound, students commit to meeting with their UB Advisor/Tutor at their school s

ite weekly and participating in monthly Saturday Academies during the school year. In addition, Upward Bound participants participate in an intensive six week summer component. During the summer component students receive a real college experience by taking classes on the FRC campus, practicing their skills in budgeting, exploring career paths, and participating in numerous leadership, personal development, and cultural activities.
