FRC Upward Bound serves 50 students from the following high schools: Westwood, Chester, Greenville, Quincy and Portola. The program provides tutoring, academic advisement, college tours, enrichment courses, SAT prep, and assistance completing college admissions and financial aid applications. ite weekly and participating in monthly Saturday Academies during the school year. In addition, Upward Bound participants participate in an intensive six week summer component. During the summer component students receive a real college experience by taking classes on the FRC campus, practicing their skills in budgeting, exploring career paths, and participating in numerous leadership, personal development, and cultural activities.
