There's something special about middle school sports, and the Citywide Spring Track Meet is one of the best examples of it every single year. πŸ…

Athletes from Atlantic, Broad Meadows, Central, Point Webster, and South~West came ready to compete, to cheer each other on, and to give everything they had. They pushed through every event with real determination and lifted each other up from start to finish.

With just a few days left in the school year, seeing students finish this strong together is inspiring and a great example for all of us.

A huge shoutout to the QHS Culinary staff and student team who made everything look (and taste) great πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ’™

🐣✨ THE DUCKS HAVE LANDED (well, hatched)! ✨🐣

Beechwood Knoll School just got a whole lot cuter with the arrival of seven fluffy babies that hatched over Memorial Day weekend. Ms. Connolly's 2nd graders became duckling parents.

The entire second grade lined up to meet the Beechwood Ducklings and learn more about what it takes to raise a duckling. The ducklings have since headed back to their home at Channell Homestead to start their next adventure. πŸ¦†πŸ’›

Congratulations to the North Quincy High School and Quincy High School students named as Quincy Retired Teachers Association Scholarship recipients this year!

Established in 1978, the QRTA Scholarship Fund has grown through generous contributions made in memory and in honor of individuals and through bequests from retired teachers, their families, and friends who believe deeply in Quincy students. Since its founding, the fund has awarded more than 1,000 scholarships, opening doors for students across our community.

We are so grateful to the QRTA for this lasting legacy. Congratulations to all of this year's recipients!

Behind every future teacher is someone who lit the spark first. πŸ’™πŸŽ

From kindergarten classrooms to theater stages, these North Quincy students are taking everything, the kindness, the encouragement, the belief someone had in them, and turning it into a calling.

Their vision goes far beyond lesson plans. They want to build confidence, champion mental health, ignite creativity, and make every child feel seen, valued, and unstoppable. They're already making an impact. And they're just getting started.

The future of education is in incredible hands. ✨
