Central PA Honor Flight

Greetings friends in PA we have an exciting opportunity to help Central PA Honor Flight!

On September 27th 2026 we will hold our first ever fundraiser! We will hold a special Bingo Bash in St. Thomas, PA Fire hall 34 Schoolhouse Rd, Saint Thomas, PA, United States, 17252 Doors will open at 11 am, Games start @ 2PM .

Tickets include a meal and 6 cards that can be used in all 24 games! Remaining tickets will be sold at the door. The tickets are $30.00.

This event is to help Central PA Honor Flight to transport Veterans from Franklin, Adams, Fulton, Perry , Cumberland and Huntington counties, to Washington DC ( via Chartered Bus) and the Welcome them back home
We hope that you can come out and have a fun time!

No way I will be able to thank all who need it but here goes:
To the Greencastle Vfw Club way we could even hold this event without you there would not be a Central PA Honor Flight!
To the Men and women of Rescue Hose Company No. 1 of Greencastle, PA...you made me tear up again rounding the turn seeing the lights and the Flag bless you for your continued help and support!
To the Greencastle Borough Police for helping led the es**rt into town. All the lights made the Veterans quite happy to see some support and your help is Greatly apreciated.
To the Franklin County Sheriff's Office thanks for the es**rt from the PA line! Your support nand help means a lot. You really go the Veterans excited to see what was coming

To the young ladies from Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania Thanks you for showing up and wishing us safe travels

To the United States Park Police in Washington DC God Bless and keep you thanks for the es**rt around a busy day in Washington DC, sorry I was a bit hard to get ahold of!

To Honor Flight Network , Earl Morse and Miller God bless and keep you gentlemen you have given my life some true meaning and touched my heart repeatedly. I cannot repay you, I can only hope to work at building something awesome from what you both began.

To all the Veterans from Mission 2 ! No words can express my feelings for you, nor can I show you in any other way what high regard I hold you in. I wasn’t a service member but I hope felt treated right and kindly, and will look back and say thanks.

To my dear beloved Guardians…WELL done all no way to thank you all but I’ll try over the next few weeks to do so!

Greetings Pennsylvania, THIS Saturday April 25th is our Second Mission bringing Veterans to Washington DC, Showing them all the Memorials and Monuments erected in their honor, and then bringing them back home for a most proper "Welcome Home". We depart SUPER early Saturday AM and then should return back between 5:45PM and 6:15 PM on Saturday Evening. The VFW 6319 in Greencastle is letting folks stand on their lawn to wave and greet the veterans as they return! There could be a show of motorcycles and a Police es**rt from the MD line...we'll come down RT 11 like we did in September!

Hey Guardians remember your training VFW 6319 in Greencastle PA 10-12 this Saturday (4/11). You must ( with exceptions for those that live over 90 minutes away) go through training ...we promise it won't be hard or terribly difficult!
