I’m hosting a community meeting on Tuesday, June 16th, at 6 PM at 150 Newport Ave Extension to give residents the opportunity to learn and provide feedback on this proposed development project in North Quincy off Neport Ave Extension near the Newport Ave entrance to the NQ MBTA station.

Trammell Crow Residential is proposing a new transit-oriented residential community on the property. The existing office buildings and associated surface parking lots will be replaced with 520 units in four multifamily buildings with landscaping, open space, and approximately 500 total parking spaces.

This letter was sent to 4,044 nearby homes in Ward 3, and I’ve also included the information in my newsletter as well as here on social media. It’s important to me that you have the chance to know about proposed projects in advance and to share your thoughts and concerns.

After this community meeting, this project will go to the conservation committee and then the planning board for final approval.

PLEASE NOTE: If you’re unable to attend, you can email me your questions and comments at [email protected], and I will put them on the official record with the planning board. Your voice makes a difference. Please join us if you can!

Such a fun time at PorchFest Quincy Beer Release Party Friday night at Kilroy Square Beer Garden. The watermelon larger was excellent. Break Rock Brewing produces a special beer each year to help support PorchFest Quincy with a portion of the proceeds from the beer sales. The beer will be available at the tap room and at local liquor stores soon. It was wonderful to have the TOKYO TRAMPS performing, a band that has been with us since we first started about 10 years ago!
