We have had quite a few people in the Village Office with Ballot and Township needs and questions:

Absentee Ballots: These ballots are to be dropped off at the address on the front of the ballot envelope (11 N. Main St.) the ballot box is located on the South side of the Library. The Village Office does not have a ballot box at the office, please do not put them in our drop box. Elections are held at the Village Office but put on by the Quincy township officials.

Township Zoning: If you are in the Quincy township and have zoning questions or need a township zoning application you can contact Township Zoning Administrator Andrew Craig at 517-861-1843.

Township Taxes: if you have Township Tax questions you can contact Treasurer Tim Brockway at 517-639-4060, the Village Office does not have access to Township Tax information.

Township Clerk: If you have election questions you can contact Cindy Harleton the Quincy Township Clerk at 517-639-4060. Elections are held at the Quincy Village Office but put on by Quincy Township Officials.

This handsome man was seen many times today and someone was finally able to get him to go with them. Right now he is at the Village Office and we are contacting animal control now. He is such a sweet boy and he misses home!

We have received a few questions regarding Pints in the Park due to the power outage announcement by Consumers Energy. Pints in the Park is still a GO! Village manager Ryan Smead has been in contact with consumers and they are willing to hold off until pints in the Park is done (11pm)if worse comes to worse we will just party until the lights go out!(10PM)

Chief Turmell had a back seat passenger this morning. This young man was picked up near Glenn Ave and was dropped off at the branch county animal control.

UPDATE: Consumers Energy has pushed back their substation updates to next Saturday the 26.

CONSUMERS ENERGY OUTAGE UPDATE:

Attached are maps of the outage areas that will take place this weekend.
The outage is scheduled to take place beginning at 10PM Saturday September 19th and run until as late as 7AM Sunday September 20th.

In the chance that the project gets delayed this weekend the back up date will be Saturday September 26th and will run through Sunday September 27th.

We will update you as much as we can through this process!
