Enrollment is open for new students for the 2026-27 School Year at Plumas Unified School District.

How to enroll your new student:
Step 1. Pre-enroll your child online to let us know you are planning to send your child to one of our PUSD schools: https://buff.ly/675INYb

Step 2. Once you have pre-enrolled your child, we’ll contact you to let you know what information and documents we need to complete the enrollment process.

Age Requirements for enrollment:
Kindergarten enrollment: Age 5 on or before September 1, 2026.
Transitional Kindergarten enrollment: Age 4 on or before September 1, 2026.

If your child already attends a PUSD school, you don't need to enroll them again. This is for enrolling students new to the district.

📚✨ It’s Time to Enroll Our Newest Cougars! ✨📚

We are excited to begin enrollment for our incoming Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten students for the 2026–27 school year! 🐾❤️

Starting the enrollment process early has many benefits:
✔️ Helps your child feel prepared and excited for TK or Kindergarten
✔️ Ensures you receive important communication and updates from our school
✔️ Supports our planning as we prepare for the upcoming school site consolidation of Pioneer at Alder

🎒 Join Us for Our “Passport to Pioneer” Open House!
📅 April 29 - time tbd
We invite all incoming TK/K students and their families to come meet our amazing teachers, explore our programs, and learn what to expect for the upcoming school year. Our TK and Kindergarten teachers will be there to welcome you and share important information—we can’t wait to meet you!

📝 Enrollment Information for 2026–27:
• Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026 to enroll in Kindergarten
• Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026 to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten (as available)

📅 First Day of School: Wednesday, August 19, 2026
• Kindergarten: Full school day
• TK: Ends at 12:00 PM daily
• After school care available until 6:00 PM
• Fridays are early release days

📌 What You’ll Need to Register:
• Proof of residence within district boundaries
• Immunization records
• Proof of age (birth certificate, passport, or affidavit)

📚 IT’S GO TIME! The Quincy Read-a-thon Kickoff is HERE! 📚

Today marks the official Day 1 of our favorite event of the year!

This Week’s Mission: THE SEARCH FOR SPONSORS! 🔍

Before we dive into the books, we are looking for our "Cheering Squad."

Whether it’s a flat donation or a "per-minute" pledge, every cent goes directly to the Quincy Parent Cooperative.

Calling all students! It’s time to light up the night at the *2026 Glow Dance*! Join us for an evening of music, neon lights, and unforgettable fun.

📍 Where: Alder Campus

What’s happening:
🎨 Glow-in-the-dark Face Painting
📸 Angel Wings Photo Op
