Our final Pineapple Award winner of the year is Caston Kendrick in Ms. Harbison’s 3rd grade class! I am so proud of all the hard work Caston has done this year! He is consistently accountable, kind, respectful and honest to both peers and adults. He is a dedicated, hard worker, who wants to do his best in everything he tries. Caston is an excellent example for his classmates about who a rising fourth grader should be! You've come so far this year, and I'm so glad to have had you in our class this year. Keep up the great work, Caston!

Mrs. Donbrosky, NKCPS School Board member for District 3, visited with our 2nd and 3rd graders today! She presented to our Cubs about the American Revolution and our country’s 250th year Anniversary while she portrayed American poet and playwright, Mercy Otis Warren! Our Cubs learned more about being great readers and why reading is so important.
