π Congratulations to Our 2026 EMT and Paramedic of the Year! π
It is with great pride and excitement that we announce our 2026 EMT of the Year, Lt. Callie Towne, and our 2026 Paramedic of the Year, Captain Travis Po***ck!
These awards are especially meaningful because they were voted on by their peers, the people who work alongside them every day and witness firsthand the dedication, leadership, and heart they bring to Southern Regional EMS.
π Captain Travis Po***ck β Paramedic of the Year
Travis has been part of the SREMS family from nearly the beginning, serving as our second full-time employee. Over the years, we have watched him grow tremendously. From EMT to Lieutenant, then earning his Paramedic certification, promoting to Captain, and now being named Paramedic of the Year, his journey is a true testament to hard work and dedication.
Travis is the definition of a company man. He consistently puts the organization, his coworkers, and our patients first. He leads by example, works tirelessly behind the scenes, and always has the best interests of SREMS at heart. His commitment, loyalty, and work ethic are truly one in a million, and we are incredibly fortunate to have him on our team.
π Lt. Callie Towne β EMT of the Year
Callie joined SREMS just over a year ago, and what an impact she has made in such a short time. Serving as our Event Coordinator and now Lieutenant, she has quickly become a valuable part of our organization.
When Callie first started, she was quiet and reserved. Today, she is a force to be reckoned with, in all the best ways. She is a strong advocate for our employees, a dependable leader, and someone who always has your back when you need her. Her hard work and dedication have played a major role in the revitalization of our dispatch operations, and her contributions continue to strengthen our organization every day. We are truly blessed to have her as part of the SREMS family.
What makes these awards even more special is that our employees chose two members of our leadership team. It speaks volumes about the kind of leaders Callie and Travis are. They don't just hold titles, they set the example every single day through their actions, professionalism, compassion, and dedication to those around them.
Congratulations, Callie and Travis! Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and this recognition is well deserved. Thank you both for everything you do for Southern Regional EMS, our employees, our patients, and our communities. We are incredibly proud of you and honored to celebrate this achievement with you.
