Quitman Garden Club The Quitman Garden Club in Quitman, Texas, provides a fun setting to learn and share gardening experiences. All are welcome!

We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 2pm in the Quitman Library (unless we have a field trip scheduled). Check our page for announcements about each month's meeting and guest speakers.

Come early to our meeting so you can see the beautiful work of local artist Bart Soutendijk

Artist, Bart Soutendijk, will be at the Quitman Public Library on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. to meet the public and show several pieces from his "Botanicals" collection.
Bart Soutendijk makes full color drawings using photographs as his resource. He takes photos of plants and other subjects, then assembles them on a computer and uses the result as his guide to draw and color the final digital illustration. His work has been purchased by collectors from all over the world.
