Before last night’s football game, Brooks County Schools took time to celebrate and recognize our outstanding **Teachers of the Year** from across the district!

QES was especially proud to recognize **Ms. Kristy Malone as our **2026–2027 Teacher of the Year!** 🎉 We are so proud of Ms. Malone and the incredible work she does each day for our students and our school. Her dedication, passion, and commitment to making a difference are just a few of the reasons she represents QES so well!

Congratulations, Ms. Malone, and congratulations to all of our Brooks County Schools Teachers of the Year!Thank you for the impact you make every day! ❤️💙

QES had an amazing week of Pre-Planning, mixed in with a little fun and topped off with an incredible Open House! Our faculty and staff have worked hard preparing classrooms, making plans, building relationships, and getting everything ready to welcome our students back.

Seeing so many of our students and families at Open House was the perfect way to wrap up a great week. To say we’re excited for our students to return would be an understatement!

We are ready for another amazing year of learning, growing, and making memories together!

Thoughtful gestures like this mean more than you know and are a great reminder of how fortunate we are to serve in a community that truly supports our schools, students, and staff.
