🚨 FIRE DANGER ALERT: A Red Flag Warning has been issued across all of Southeast Louisiana and Southern Mississippi for Sunday.

Strong northerly winds (gusting up to 35 mph) and very low humidity will create "tinderbox" conditions across the Capital Area. Any fire that starts could spread rapidly.

WHAT TO DO:
🚫 Postpone all outdoor burning.
🚬 Dispose of ci******es properly (never toss them out the window).
⛓️ Check trailer chains to ensure they aren't dragging and creating sparks.
🚜 Avoid parking vehicles in tall, dry grass.

Mark your calendars! Hope to see you there!

Ice accumulation can strain the electric system by weighing down power lines and nearby trees or vegetation, which can lead to outages, especially during freezing temperatures and high winds. Entergy crews are actively monitoring conditions and preparing to respond safely and efficiently.

Customers are encouraged to stay clear of downed power lines, avoid trees near power equipment, and report outages.
